Description
Oldfields Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse constructed from coursed rubble limestone with gritstone dressings. It features a plain tile roof with stone coped gables and kneelers, along with brick gable end stacks. The building is designed in an L-plan and has two storeys.
The south elevation consists of three bays with angle quoins. The central doorway is framed by quoins and a lintel, featuring a 20th-century half-glazed door. To the left of the doorway is a three-light square section flush mullion window, which has a casement centre light and fixed side lights. To the right, there is a two-light late 18th-century bow window with a stone surround and cornice, showcasing a curved casement with original glazing bars. On the first floor, there are three two-light square section flush mullion windows, which include casements and fixed leaded lights.
