Description

Seggimoor Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse that has undergone alterations in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins, red brick, and stucco dressings, topped with a concrete tiled roof that has two brick gable stacks. The building stands three storeys high with a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a six-panelled door with a three-paned overlight and a wide hood supported by two brackets. On either side of the door are single 20th-century facetted bay windows with glazing bars and leaded roofs. The first floor has three glazing bar sash windows, while the second floor features three Yorkshire glazing bar sash windows. All windows are set within brick reveals and have splayed rusticated stucco lintels with dropped keystones.
