Description
Bodden Cross Farmhouse is an 18th-century farmhouse with 19th-century alterations. It is constructed of rubble with coped verges, some areas rendered, and features double-Roman and concrete tile roofs, along with brick, concrete block, and ashlar stacks. The building has an L-plan layout and is two storeys high, with two, two, and one bays. The right wing has three stone-mullioned windows, which include two three-light windows and one single-light window in a freestone surround, as well as a 19th-century sash window. The right two bays contain 16-pane sash windows set in stone architraves, except for one ground floor window that has a central mullion and casements for each light. The bay to the right is part of a lower-height outshut with casements. The entrance features a door opening in a freestone surround, leading to a 19th-century half-glazed door.
