Description
The remains of a roadside cross, likely dating from the 14th century, are constructed from dressed stone. The structure features a base consisting of two square steps that are much broken and irregular. At the top, there is a square socket with convex broaches at the corners and a mortise, although the upper face is damaged. The head and shaft of the cross are missing. This site is also designated as a Scheduled Ancient Monument, with the Somerset County Number 455.
