Description
Manor House is a farmhouse that possibly dates back to the 17th century, with an early 18th-century addition and early 19th-century alterations. It features lined stucco on the exterior, a slate roof with stone kneelers and coping, and deep overhanging eaves. The house has two brick gable stacks and one ridge stack. The layout includes a parallel range, with the rear range being the older section that has a pantiled roof.
The front of the house is two storeys high and has five bays with irregular window placement. The off-centre 19th-century double door has six panels and is topped by a traceried fanlight within a reeded doorcase that features an open pediment. To the left of the door is a glazing bar sash window, while to the right is a tripartite glazing bar bay window with a lead roof. Further along, there is another glazing bar sash window and a six-panel door that is covered by a 20th-century temporary porch. On the first floor, there are four sash windows, three of which have glazing bars, while the one on the right is plain. Inside, there is an early 18th-century corner cupboard, with other fittings, stairs, and architraves dating to the early 19th century.
