Description

The barn and pigeon cote at White Swan Farm date from the late 18th century. They are constructed of red brick and topped with a pantiled roof. The barn features three bays, raised coped tumbled gables, and a dogtooth eaves course. There are pilasters on either side of a blocked central arched doorway. To the right of the barn is a taller pigeon cote, which has a staggered butt purlin roof and brick boxes on all four sides, capable of housing approximately 1,000 birds. This structure is listed for its group value only.
