Description
The Old Croft is a former pigeoncote and barn dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features pantile roofs. The building has rebated eaves, tumbled coped gables, and a first-floor band. It stands two storeys high and consists of a single bay plus three additional bays.
The pigeoncote, located to the south, includes an unglazed casement window on the left and a brick and stone stair with a segmental headed door beneath it on the right. Above this door, there is a large plank door. The barn, situated to the north, has a pair of off-centre barn doors flanked by piers. To the left of the barn doors, there is a hatch with a segmental head and a breather, while to the right, there are four breathers. Above, on the left side, is a slatted casement and another breather. The north end of the barn features two breathers.
