Description
The Barn is a Grade II listed building located on Cross Street in Sturton le Steeple. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed of brick with pantile roofs. The building features dentillated eaves and is designed in an L-plan, comprising two storeys with three bays on one side and two on the other.
The barn section has a central pair of barn doors on the north side, flanked by piers. To the left of the doors, there is a single slatted casement window, and to the right, there is a breather. Above the doors, there are two additional breathers, while the west gable has three breathers. The adjoining stable to the south has a blank wall facing the street. This building is included in the listing for its group value.
