Description

Crow Tree Farm is a late 17th-century brick farmhouse, now rendered, originally located on Wheatley Road but now situated on Station Road in Sturton le Steepele. The building has a gabled pantile roof and features first and second-floor bands, rebated and dentillated eaves, and three gable stacks. It is two storeys plus garrets, with a three-bay main block extended to form an L-plan. Most windows are 20th-century glazing bar casements. The north front has a plain, centrally positioned Classical doorcase with an altered hood and overlight, and a glazed door. Single windows flank the doorcase. Above the doorcase, to the left, is a round-headed glazing bar sash, and above that, a central round-headed glazing bar sash flanked by single windows. The west side has a single casement on each floor. The east side features a casement with a segmental head on the ground floor, another casement above that, and two small glazing bar sashes above again.
