Description

This is a barn with a pigeon cote located at Grange Farmhouse, dating from the late 18th century and with some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of brown brick and features a pantile roof topped with a central cupola that has a square plan and a lead-covered ogee-shaped roof. The cupola includes fixed glazing bar windows and two tiers of flight holes for pigeons. There is a single doorway on the south side with a segmental head and a plank door. To the north, there is a large wooden lean-to shed added in the 20th century. This building is included in the listing for its group value.
