Description
The carriagehouse and stables at High Street Farmhouse date from the early 19th century and are constructed of red brick. The building features hipped pantile roofs with decorated eaves. It has a two-storey bay with single-storey flanking ranges, the one on the right having a blank wall. The two-storey bay includes a large carriage arch with a segmental head and double plank doors. To the left, there is a doorway with a segmental head and double stable doors, followed by another doorway with a wooden lintel and double stable doors. Beyond that is a round-headed archway. Above the carriage arch, there are two cross-shaped breathers. Additionally, there is a lean-to at right angles to the left, which has a doorway with a wooden lintel and double stable doors.
