Description

Number 31 on St Martin's is a building from 1671, featuring a modern front designed in a mid-18th century style that is well-proportioned. It is constructed of ashlar and has two storeys with four windows that have plain reveals. The central door is framed by Doric pilasters and an entablature that includes a triglyph, metope, and guttae. There is a band between the storeys and a plinth at the base. The building displays the crest of the School. It is part of a group that includes numbers 18 to 38 on the same street and the Church of St Martin.
