Description
Number 19, St Martin's is a building dating from 1797, featuring a front elevation that enlarges an earlier 17th-century house. It stands three storeys tall, constructed from dressed rubble with stone quoins and stone bands at the cills. The roof is made of stone slate. The building has three windows framed in stone architraves, with 19th-century glazing. There are three-light windows on the ground and first floors, although the centre window on the first floor is blocked. The entrance consists of a six-panel door with a flat arch and a rusticated architrave, topped by a rectangular fanlight with glazing bars. This property is part of a group that includes numbers 18 to 38 and the Church of St Martin.
