Description

Number 11 on St Martin's is a building from 1671, with a splayed and gabled bay that likely has an early 18th-century ashlar front on the north side. The bay has two storeys, featuring a 5-light mullioned window on each level, both with moulded dripmoulds. The ashlar front includes a small shop front with modern glazing and a door, situated below a casement window that is also under a straight dripmould. It is said that the building once included a Norman door. Numbers 4 to 12 on St Martin's form a group.
