Description

Number 6 on High Street is a building dating from the late 17th century, with an upper storey added in the 18th century. It has two storeys and attics, constructed in painted ashlar. The building features two hipped dormers and casement windows with glazing bars. There is a plain eaves cornice, block rusticated quoins, and three windows that are set in moulded stone surrounds with triple keystones. The shop front was added in the late 19th century. This building is part of a group that includes number 4 and numbers 6 to 12 consecutively.
