Description

13 St Paul's Street dates to the mid-18th century. It is a two-story building with an attic, constructed in ashlar. The original facade features three double-hung sash windows with glazing bars, set within plain stone frames that have keystones and cills. Two hipped dormers are present, also with sliding sash windows containing glazing bars. A modern shop front has been inserted, replacing most of the original ground floor windows, but one remains. An early 19th-century door is located on the side elevation, and it is characterized by a reeded case, paterae ornamentation, and an open wooden pediment. A foot scraper is set into the ground in front of the door. The building forms a group with Nos 7 to 17 St Paul’s Street.
