Description

14 St Paul’s Street is an early 18th-century building with 19th-century additions and window replacements. It is two storeys and has attics, and is rendered on its exterior. The roof is covered in stone slates, and features two hipped dormers with modern casement windows. The front has three windows in moulded wooden frames with cills resting on small consoles. The ground floor features one window with a moulded cornice on consoles, and a bowed window beneath a cornice also supported by consoles. The front door consists of six panels, two of which are glazed, set within a moulded frame. A large, rectangular projecting hood with heavy cornice mouldings covers the doorway, and the eaves are finished with a moulded wooden cornice. A slight plinth is visible on the right-hand side, along with an inset foot scraper. The building forms a group with Nos. 7 to 17 St Paul’s Street.
