Description

The gateway to Sir Malcolm Sargent School, located on All Saints' Street, dates back to the early 19th century. It features a four-centred moulded stone arch beneath a moulded parapet, with turretted stone jambs. This gateway was originally part of a 15th-century arcade that stood in front of Browne's Hospital on Broad Street and was re-erected at its current location in the early 19th century. The gateway is part of a group that includes Nos 14 to 17, which are consecutive properties nearby.
