Description

The Albion Tavern is a mid-19th century building located at 1671 All Saints' Street. It is constructed of ashlar and has a stone slate roof, finished with a wooden eaves cornice supported by small brackets. The building is three storeys high and features two windows with carved lintels and double-hung sashes containing glazing bars. A simple shop window is present at ground level, with remnants of a small bow window below, displaying a dentil cornice, fascia, and modern glazing. The round-headed main doorway is fitted with a four-panel door and a semi-circular fanlight. The building forms a group with Nos. 20 to 22 and the Melbourn Brothers Brewery.
