Description
9 St Peter's Hill is a building dating from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It stands three storeys tall, constructed from dressed stone with ashlar dressings. The first floor features three windows, with the centre window blocked, while the other two are double-hung sashes set in rusticated surrounds, each topped with a fluted keystone. The third storey has a central space with a raised panel. The building is adorned with moulded bands, a cornice, and a parapet. The early 19th-century shop front includes two windows, one of which retains its original glazing bars, and a central door that has a rectangular fanlight above it. This property forms part of a group with No 7, which is occupied by the YMCA Youth Centre.
