7/124 Farm Buildings at Pasture Hill Farm

Beast houses, stables, wagon hovel and granary. c.1840. Coursed squared limestone rubble with ashlar and brick dressings, ashlar quoins. Pantile roofs partly hipped and partly raised, stone coped gables with one slender pinnacle. 3 sides of square crewyard. Single storey, 4 bay front comprising projecting centre bay with 2 gables, linked to square slightly projecting corner blocks under hipped roofs. In the front of the outer blocks are recessed segmental headed blank panels, at the centre are 2 segmental brick arched openings with above, single circular openings. To either side are pairs of small rectangular fixed lights. To left hand side is a 2 storey, 5 bay block comprising wagon hovels and barn with granary over. Double planked doors under segmental brick arch. To right, 3 similar openings with square chamfered ashlar piers. To first floor 3 square planked openings. Pasture Hill Farm is not included on this list.
