Description

A range of farm buildings, likely dating to around 1840, encloses three sides to the rear of the farmhouse. The buildings are constructed of coursed squared limestone with hipped slate roofs, arranged in a U-shaped plan. At the end of the left return wing is a three-bay, one-storey and loft granary with a five-bay cart-standing open to the yard, supported by posts, with a red brick wall above the cart-standing. A barn featuring double opposed doors sits at the inner end of the right return wing. The other ranges are single-storey, including a long shelter shed facing the house, which is open to the yard via segmental-arched brick arcading. These buildings were part of a model farm complex.
