Description

Lock Number 15 is an early 19th-century structure that was restored in 1879 and again in the 20th century. It features red and blue brickwork and timber swing gates. This double-width lock has double upper and lower gates, as well as side pounds. The gear is dated 1867 and it is part of a flight of seven locks on the Grand Union Canal in Stoke Bruerne.
