Description
Pan's Meadow Cottage is a 17th-century cottage that was altered and extended in the early 19th century. It is built of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, and features a Collyweston slate roof with raised stone coped gables, one ball finial, and single ridge and gable stacks with stone bases and red brick tops. The cottage has an L-plan and is two stories high with a three-bay front. The entrance is an off-centre half-glazed door with a wooden lintel. To the right of the door, there are two three-light plain casements with segmental heads, and on the first floor, there is a pair of two-light casements set into the eaves. In the early 19th century, a separately gabled left-hand bay was added, contributing to the cottage's picturesque appearance.
