Description

Lamb's Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations and additions made in the late 18th century and the 20th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and brick dressings. The roof is pantiled, with one gable that has stone coping and one hip, along with a moulded stone gable stack.

The building has an L-shaped plan and a three-bay, two-storey front. The central door is covered by a 20th-century porch that has a glazed outer door, flanked by single lights beneath a gabled pantiled roof. On either side of the door, there are large single glazing bar sash windows with brick segmental heads and decorative brick surrounds. The first floor features three similar windows set into the eaves.
