Description

This is a late 17th-century cottage with alterations from the 19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins. The roof is covered in Collyweston slate and features a single red brick stack and an ashlar gable stack with a yellow brick chimney. The two-story, two-bay front has two 2-light casement windows under timber lintels, with a similar window on the first floor. The rear elevation has a planked door, a 2-light casement window to the right, a barred light in a blocked doorway, and another 2-light casement window beyond. Three hipped dormers are visible in the roof, each with a 2-light casement window and rendered cheeks. Internally, the building retains a staggered butt purlin roof.
