Description

The barn at Osgodby Farm is a 17th-century structure built of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and brick dressing. It features a stone-coped gable and a roof covered with Collyweston slate. The barn has four structural bays and an original central quoined full-height opening, which is fitted with 19th-century double doors. To the right of this opening, there is a 19th-century window and door with a brick surround, while to the left, there is a small two-light window. The oak roof from the 17th century includes arch-braced ties and two rows of staggered butt purlins, with collars but no ridge piece.
