Description

These are two late 18th-century buildings on West Street, constructed of blue and red chequered brick with a Welsh slate roof and a wooden eaves cornice. The buildings have a small, rendered plinth and two storeys, with three windows on each front. The windows have flush frames, segmental arches, double-hung sashes, and glazing bars. A rear extension is present, built in the same style.

Number 19 features a six-panel door set within a shallow wooden case with narrow pilasters, an original four-paned fanlight, and a moulded open pediment. A modern shop window with glazing bars has been installed. Number 21 has a six-panel door beneath a glazed rectangular fanlight, and a bowed window with a wooden base, a plain frieze, and a cornice above both the door and window.
