Description

Wayside is a cottage dating from the late 17th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. It is constructed of mud and stud, rendered and colourwashed. The roof is half hipped and thatched, featuring a gable stack. The building is a single storey plus attic, with a two-bay front that includes two two-light casements. There are lower single-storey, single-bay additions on either side; the left addition has a thatched roof, while the right has a pantiled roof with a raised gable. At the rear, there are two dormer windows with thatched eyebrows.
