Description
Park Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in 1747, with late 18th century refronting and mid 19th century alterations. The structure is made of coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings. It has a Collyweston slate roof with raised stone coped gables and two gable ashlar stacks. The building is L-shaped, two storeys high with attics, and has a three-bay front. The central entrance consists of half-glazed double doors flanked by single plain sash windows. On the first floor, there are three sash windows. All openings are topped with ashlar lintels that have raised keystones. The roof includes two gabled dormers with two-light casements and slate hung cheeks. The rear wing, dated 1747, is likely the original part of the house and features two semi-circular headed windows with glazing bar sashes in its gable end.
