Description
The Pigeoncote at Manor Farm, built in 1707 with 19th-century alterations and an addition, is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, topped by a pantile roof. The original structure is a single bay, 1½ storey block, which has a 19th-century, 2 bay, single storey addition on the left. The main block features a single off-centre 19th-century stable door with timber lintels at both the front and rear. The rear and gable elevations display a crude string course, and the gable includes an inscribed date stone reading "L.T. 1707." The 19th-century addition contains a plain wooden door and a single two-light window, both with timber lintels. Inside, there are pigeon boxes on two walls.
