Description
Laburnum Cottage is a late 18th-century building that was formerly two cottages but has since been converted into one. It underwent alterations in 1853. The structure is made of coursed limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, topped with a pantile roof featuring cut down moulded stone gable stacks. The front of the cottage is two storeys high and has four bays. There are two central doors, with the left door now blocked and repurposed as a window, flanked by single two-light glazing bar casements. Above these, there are two Yorkshire sashes with glazing bars and splayed stone lintels. At the rear, there is a catslide roof leading to a single storey, and a datestone indicating the year 1853.
