Description

The White Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and brick dressings, all of which are limewashed. The roof is made of pantiles and has brick gable stacks. The building has a two-storey, three-bay front with an off-centre 19th-century plank door that has a triangular brick head. This door is flanked by two light Yorkshire sash windows with glazing bars and timber lintels. Above, there are two similar windows positioned at the eaves.
