Description

Rectory Cottage is a late 18th-century cottage constructed of coursed limestone rubble, topped with a pantile roof featuring brick gable stacks. The building is single storey with attics and has a three-bay front. The central entrance is a 19th-century panelled door, flanked by two-light glazing bar Yorkshire sash windows. All openings are fitted with timber lintels. At the eaves level of the roof, there are three dormers, each with two-light glazing bars and sloping roofs. To the right of the main structure, there is a single-storey extension that includes an additional window and door.
