Description

No 5 Wharf Road is a 2-storey cottage built in the early 19th century. The end wall is curved and is a remnant of a former bastion of the town wall. The building is constructed of coursed rubble and has a Welsh slate roof. It features one sloped dormer with a sliding sash window that has glazing bars, as well as another sliding sash window with a wood lintel. There is a modern window to the right, also with a wood lintel, and a 4-panel door beneath a wood lintel. Additionally, there is a small window on the elevation facing Gas Lane.
