Description
House at 14 Hall Lane, built in the early 18th century, with later additions from the early 19th century, 1877, and the 20th century. It features coursed limestone rubble and some red brick, topped with steeply pitched pantile roofs. The building has an L-plan layout and is two storeys high with a three-bay front, plus a single-storey rubble bay on the right, which was raised in early 19th-century brick. There is a gabled porch on the left with a panelled door, and the return walls have 20th-century casement windows. A datestone inscribed "1877" is located in the gable. The doorway is flanked by single three-light casements, with a small 20th-century casement to the right and another three-light casement beyond. Above, there are three two-light 20th-century casements, all featuring wooden lintels.
