Description

Fir Tree House is a house that dates from the 17th century, with early, late 19th century, and 20th century alterations. It is constructed of rendered and colourwashed brick, with limestone rubble on the return walls from the 17th century. The house has a slate roof featuring stone coped gables, decorative ridge tiles, and gable stacks. It is two storeys high with a three-bay front. The central doorway has an overlight and a partially glazed door. On either side of the doorway are single glazing bar sash windows, with a central glazing bar sash above, flanked by two-light casements from the 20th century.
