Description
The threshing barn at Haconby Hall dates from the late 18th century and has some 20th-century alterations. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble with red brick dressings. On the north side, there is a large quoined opening to the left featuring a wooden lintel, a brick segmental head above, and double plank doors. To the right, there are two long slit breather openings. The south side has a large quoined opening to the right, also with a wooden lintel, a brick segmental head above, and double plank doors. To the left, there is a slit breather opening with a 20th-century casement inserted beyond it. To the right, there is a three-light 20th-century casement, along with two 20th-century two-light casements inserted above. The barn is included for its group value only.
