Description

Fletland Mill House is a house dating to circa 1840. It is constructed of squared limestone rubble with ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a hipped slate roof with lead dressings. The house features two wall stacks, one of brick and one of ashlar, along with a 20th-century ridge brick stack. The building comprises two parallel ranges. The two-story, three-bay front has an ashlar plinth, a moulded string course, and overhanging eaves. It also features two central and two corner ashlar pilasters with moulded heads. The central entrance has a 6-panel door with a traceried overlight, and a flat ashlar hood on brackets, flanked by single lights. Single tall glazing bar sashes are situated on either side of the entrance, and three glazing bar sashes are on the first floor, the central one within a moulded stone architrave and apron. The property is included on the list solely for group value.
