Description
Kates Bridge Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the late 18th century, with alterations and extensions made in 1872 and the 20th century. The building is constructed from coursed limestone rubble and features ashlar quoins, a Collyweston slate roof, and two projecting red brick gable stacks that are rendered. It has two storeys and attics, with a three-bay front that includes a central glazed door flanked by wooden cross mullioned casement windows. The first floor has three similar windows, all of which are topped with long timber lintels. The roof features two gabled dormers with glazing bar sashes and rendered cheeks. To the right, there is a two-storey brick extension added in 1872.
