Description

These are a group of three terraced houses, built in 1823-27, on the north side of St George's Square. The front elevations are constructed of ashlar stone, with a roof of stone slates and four dormers. Number 5 has two segmental dormers with marginal glazing, two windows with marginal glazing, and a half-glazed door in a plain reveal. Number 6 features a double-hung sash window with glazing bars, a door in a chamfered reveal, and a foot scraper, along with one segmental dormer with glazing bars. Number 7 has a single window with marginal glazing, a four-panel door, and one hipped dormer. A chamfered band runs between the two storeys. The building includes stone and brick chimneys. The houses are part of a group with numbers 1 to 12, an outbuilding to number 12, and numbers 14 to 22 on the square, and a further group with numbers 25 and 26 on St Mary's Street.
