Description

This gravestone, located five paces south of the tower in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary, dates from the early 18th century. It commemorates Anne, the wife of Richard Mason. The gravestone is made of ashlar and features a moulded surround with a scrolled pediment that contains a cherub's head. The inscription reads, "Here lies the Body of Anne, wife of Richard Mason, who departed this life the 15th Day of December in the 35 year of her age."
