Description
The Old Rectory is a former rectory, now a house, dating from around 1700, with alterations made in the early 19th century and 20th century. It is constructed from coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and dressings, and has a hipped pantile roof with two ridge stacks, two gable stacks, and a single wall brick stack. The building is designed in an L-plan and has two storeys with a three-bay front. The central entrance features a 20th-century door set within a hipped-roofed 20th-century stone porch, flanked by two-light glazing bar sash windows. On the first floor, there are two similar windows, with a single glazing bar sash window in the center. The lower windows have flat stone arches, while the upper ones are supported by timber lintels.
