Description

This is a headstone dating from around 1716, located approximately 2 meters south of the nave of the Church of St. Helen. It is made of stone and features a central inscribed panel with a relief archway supported by pilasters. These pilasters also hold figures blowing trumpets, and there is a winged head above the arch. The inscription reads: "Here lyeth the body of Anne, the wife of William Gibbs allis (sic) Hychings redhead (?) died November ye 17 1716 in the 31 year of her age."
