Description
The Round House is a house that likely dates from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of grey brick with red brick dressings and has a plain-tile roof with brick end stacks. The building is three stories high and has a four-window range. To the right, there is a four-panel part-glazed door that is sheltered by a 19th-century gabled brick porch. On the left side, there is a three-story half-circular projection with three windows on each floor. The ground and first floors feature 12-pane sash windows, while the second floor has 6-pane sash windows. There are flat brick bands between the ground and first floors and between the first and second floors. A moulded brick cornice separates the second floor from the flat parapet at the eaves, and the half-circular projection has a hipped roof. The interior has not been inspected.
