Description
This is a house, likely dating from the mid-18th century, with alterations and extensions from the 19th century. The lower portion of the house is constructed of stone, while the upper parts are grey brick with red brick detailing. The roof is covered in plain tiles, and there are brick chimney stacks. The main facade, which faces the street, is two storeys high and has four windows arranged at a right angle to the road. There are 19th-century French windows on the left side and centrally. Angled bay windows, also from the 19th century, are positioned to the left of the centre and on the right. A flat brick band runs between the ground and first floors. The first floor has four windows with sixteen panes each, some containing crown glass. The roof is half-hipped, with a ridge stack and an internal stack on the left. The rear elevation is two storeys high with an attic, featuring a single window. Recessed blind panels are present on the ground and first floors, and a six-pane sash window is found in the half-hipped gable of the attic. The interior of the house has not been inspected.
