Description

This headstone, located approximately 30 meters southeast of the chapel of the Church of St. Mary, commemorates Anne, the wife of John Hawtin. It dates from the 17th century and is made of ironstone. The headstone is small and features decoration that is similar to the adjacent headstone for Ann, the daughter of Thomas Warner. It has a plain design with an angel and scrolled head and shoulders. The inscription reads: "Here lyeth the body of Anne late wife of John Hawtin who was buryed the 17 day of May 1689."
