Description

The bridge over the River Witham, located on Woolsthorpe Road in Colsterworth, dates from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, featuring ashlar quoins and coping, along with red brick detailing. The bridge has a semi-circular headed brick arch, supported by single piers at each end. The parapet includes canted ends and large coping stones that have rounded tops.
