Description
The Roman Catholic Presbytery, located at 1 North Parade, is an early 19th century or late 18th century building made of red brick with a slate roof. It stands three stories tall and features stone quoins and a plinth. The building has three windows, with the ones on either side slightly bowed on both stories. The two ground floor windows have painted "rusticated" surrounds. There is a six-panel door topped with a rectangular fanlight, which is framed by a rusticated stone architrave. The south elevation, facing Barrowby Road, includes one dormer and a blocked Venetian window on the first floor, while the ground floor has a blocked three-light window beneath a segmental brick arch. A modern extension to the church is located to the north.
