Description

Milestone dating from the mid-19th century, made of painted ashlar. It is rectangular and approximately 0.75 of a metre high, featuring a moulded head. The front is inscribed with 'Spalding 12 miles. Gedney.' The left side reads 'To Holbeach 4 miles' and the right side states 'To Long Sutton 1 mile.'
